Our hospital, was opened by my grandfather Ishikawa Takatoshi in 1941 in the our current location. Since then during this long over 67 years from period of postwar ruin to nowadays, we were able to get working on improving the health of local residents. I wish to express my sincere gratitute to the local residents who always support us.
This occasion, I become the third-generation president after retirement of former president Ishikawa Hirotoshi.
I spent my childhood in this hospital. Among many memories I kept in my mind that the former president's appearance working no time to rest on a daily basis examining the injured patient and attending emergency patients day and night.
"Medical care for the community health" was our hospital's guiding principle over the years, and this was exactly same ideology of our former president.
Inherited this philosophy, I can carry on my family values, health care initiatives in the sincere attitude to all employees, as a part of our commitment we will support community health.
To the local residents, we are looking forward your support as ever.

Currently, one of the largest health reforms promoted by the Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare is shared hospital function. In other words, cancer treatment is carried out by a large hospitals such as a highly specialized university hospitals, then medium level hospitals serves as a support to the large hospitals. Special outpatient clinics is responsible for the initial response to common diseases such as abdominal pain, cold, and even for home care of elderly patients in terminal stage of cancer . This concept sounds reasonable at first glance but it must fit to the real clinical point of view..
For example, what will happen if the patients come with urgent need of surgery because of perforated peritonitis in Kameari Katsushika Ward. Large hospitals around the state is not always disponible for the emergency surgery. That is why it has been often reported in newspapers and television about death of the patients who's condition worsened while searching available hospital for a emergency service. The communtyt really need is the hospital in the region which have a right response to a emergency with bed and surgical capacity. .
Our hospital, we have qualified emergency service for a patients within the region during night and day even in holidays. We believe it might have been one of the our reasons to support for local people.
"Health care for patient's well-being" and "Provide warm and high quality health care" attitude is always important for us and, we aim to be linked with our patient by strong relationships.
